Dreaming of Marionettes

On Sunday, February 9th, the Playhouse invites you to see the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty in a totally new way – through puppets! Marionetas de la Esquina is an internationally renowned Mexican theatre company known for their inventive puppetry. During this performance, not only will you see Sleeping Beauty with beautiful marionettes, but the story will be somewhat different too – no witches or spinning wheels but rather protective parents and adventurous children. This production is produced by Marionetas de la Esquina and is a US premiere co-commission with the Kennedy Center and Marionetas de la Esquina.

Check out this video created by the Kennedy Center about Sleeping Beauty Dreams and get your tickets now for the performances on Sunday, February 9th at 1pm and 4pm.
